Qoo10's 10.10 Shopping Evolution happening at Plaza Singapura from 9 – 15 October 2017

TAMPINES, Singapore - Oct. 11, 2017 - PRLog -- Qoo10 Singapore, Asia's leading online marketplace, will be having an event - 'Qoo10 10.10 Shopping Evolution' at Plaza Singapura, Level 1 Atrium from 9^th to 15^th October 2017 (10am to 10pm). The event aims to feature Qoo10's marketplace features, showcasing its strong base of merchants and marketplace functions such as Qoo10's Live10 app, MameGo! Game for Qoo10 users and more importantly Qpay, Qoo10's recently launched integrated cashless payment system. More than 20 Qoo10 merchants, consisting of brands like Parisilk, Spigen, and small & medium enterprises (SMEs) such as MiniHelpersSG and Passion Gadgets will be having booths, featuring plenty of tech gadgets in the market, including smartphones, computers, gaming consoles, and branded home electronics to name a few.

Singapore's recent sales data shows signs of recovery, but weak retail sentiment still persists. The Retail Sales Index (RSI) indicated that although retail sales in July 2017 went up 1.8 per cent year on year, there were other lacklustre indicators in the first half of 2017. As a way to move forward amid the slumping retail sector, Qoo10's strategy is to synergise offline and online retailers together, and not to cannibalise each other.

'Qoo10 10.10 Shopping Evolution' event aims to further help merchants, especially small business owners tap into a larger target audience online, bridging the online-to-offline (O2O) gap.

The system is integrated in the Qoo10 payment platform and extends to the discounts and loyalty rewards on individuals' Qoo10 accounts which are applicable upon checking out.
