TYSONS, Va. - Oct. 11, 2017 - PRLog -- Anthem House, a 292-unit rental community in Baltimore developed by the Bozzuto Group, War Horse Cities and Solstice Partners was among 14 projects designed by international award-winning firm KTGY Architecture + Planning to earn top honors in the 2017 Great American Living Awards (GALA) program, the most prestigious residential design, sales and marketing competition in the metropolitan Washington, D.C., market. Separately, Anthem House received a WaveMaker Award from the Urban Land Institute (ULI)'s Baltimore chapter, which bestows the annual honor on Maryland's most successful real estate developments.

The GALA awards, presented by the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association, the Washington Metropolitan Sales and Marketing Council, and the Maryland Building Industry Association, recognized KTGY's wide range of capabilities showcasing the firm's excellence and innovation in the design of multifamily residential communities as well as attached and detached single-family homes. As part of the Oct. 5 ceremony, Anthem House received the "Design & Architecture, Multi-Family (Mixed-Use)" award as well as the "Home of the Year" award, which has historically been awarded to attached or detached single-family home projects.

In a separate ceremony held the same evening, Anthem House received a WaveMaker Award from ULI Baltimore – one of just 10 developments selected by the organization's Awards Committee.

Completed in spring 2017, Anthem House is located on a former industrial site at 900 E. Fort Ave. in Baltimore's historic Locust Point neighborhood. The Z-shaped footprint of Anthem House takes advantage of an unusual site that slopes down toward the waterfront. Visible through the entire Inner Harbor, the community serves as a gateway to the waterfront district that is home to the iconic Under Armour headquarters and Domino Sugar refinery, both located less than a mile from Anthem House. The community also offers residents a robust suite of amenities with a fitness-based lifestyle focus.
