He joined the firm from Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP where he represented a wide variety of regional and national companies in mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, reorganizations and strategic partnerships, and advised his clients on a variety of regulatory compliance issues, as well as copyright and federal and state trademark matters. Josh earned his bachelor's degree in English and psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law. "Josh's experience with startup and technology related clients will make it an easy transition to Hutchison. We're excited to have him on the team," said Dan O'Korn, a managing member of the firm and partner responsible for recruiting and human resources. Marty joins the firm from Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP and will work with emerging growth companies, focusing on corporate and intellectual property issues enterprises face. Marty received his J.D. and LL.M. in law and entrepreneurship from Duke University School of Law and his undergraduate degree in economics, with minors in chemistry and mathematics, from the University of Miami.
