CHANTILLY, Va. - Oct. 9, 2017 - PRLog -- For the last five years, Christine Angles has pulled double duty. By day she runs her Manassas, VA Allstate agency helping customers and residents with insurance solutions for their household. At night and on the weekends, you'll find Angles helping collect food for local elementary school students and planning her next group meal to serve at the local shelter and helping wherever needed. For her outstanding contributions and volunteer efforts, Angles has been named one of 14 regional winners of the 2017 Ray Lynch Community Service award – Allstate's top national honor recognizing an agency owner or financial specialist for the way he or she gives back and makes a difference in the community.

Christine was also recently honored as a female business leader and volunteer, and was presented with the 2017 Entrepreneur Champion of Change Award at the She Suite Summit, held in Tysons Corner.

"Christine supports her Northern Virginia communities in every way possible," said Dave Simons, Allstate regional sales leader. "As a local business owner, Christine believes in going above and beyond the call of duty to do what's best for customers and the community."

"I am truly honored to receive this award," said Angles. "There are many Allstate awards, but the Ray Lynch Community Service Award makes me the proudest to represent Allstate. I love that The Allstate Foundation financially supports non-profits where I volunteer. The Allstate Foundation Helping Hands grants have helped me make an impact with those who need it most in my agency community."

"Christine has supported NVFS' SERVE campus in numerous ways, including event sponsorships, on-site event volunteering and meal donations. Not only is she eager to jump in and help, but she also engages friends and colleagues in her community stewardship to help broaden our reach and impact," said Karen Horowitz, NVFS Director of Community & Volunteer Engagement.

The Ray Lynch Community Service award is dedicated to the memory of former Allstate agent Ray Lynch of Fayetteville, N.C. Lynch built a successful agency around a remarkable record of service to his community.

As a winner, Angles receives a $2,000 grant from The Allstate Foundation that she is donating to another organization she supports, the Northern Virginia Family Services and Friends of SERVE, where she helps out at the family homeless shelter in Manassas.

Since 2012, Angles has been serving her customers' car insurance, home insurance, and life insurance needs with two thriving agency locations in Manassas and Chantilly Virginia. You can find her at 9834 Liberia Ave, Manassas, VA 20110, by phone: (703) 330-9400 or online: https://agents.allstate.com/christine-angles-manassas-va.html.
