Blue Moses - poetry by Jodde Maree

Blue Moses
Blue Moses
BRUSSELS - Oct. 8, 2017 - PRLog -- In the morning
I know my head
Will hurt again
So I'll take the
Train into
Another city
Just to watch the sun
Fall down
Upon empty walls
Of Dreams

I Want Gentle

Sapphire blue
I repeat the
Sound
Of your
Voice
So gentle
So faraway
Stopping rain
To forget
The sequences
Of a mile
Just a day
I smell
Honey smoked
Love and all
Is rosy
So smooth
Are
The currents
Of melting
Sand
Just a word
Of perfume
And my head
Is drowning
In your
Smothering
Beauty
Vacant poison
Looms in
The streets
And still I
Am rich
So finely
Attuned to
Pretty words
Beauty has spoken
Through the
Wires
Our
Weary
Shoulders burden
The Intake of
Rolling skies
Heavens
Are tender
With
Touch.

Viola

How viola
They ravished you
With pricks and pins
In a bid
For freedom
So lonely
The house blows away
With each pinch
Of skin
Wonder no more
Just listen
To how the sounds
Of precise
Splendour
Will roll from
You and then
Pull you under
There is no thunder
In halls of
Hounds
Barking so
Loudly,
They took your
Chair
Upon the open
Stairs
The one chained
To memories
Where you sat
And dissolved
With thoughts
Of going
Home.
