Central Florida's largest regional Craft Festival set for Oct 28 and 29 ,2017

MOUNT DORA, Fla. - Oct. 7, 2017 - PRLog -- Visit Mount Dora™ welcomes you to their beautiful town as the historic downtown streets come alive with an eclectic group of exhibitors displaying their crafts for sale. With a record number of applications this year, the juried October Mount Dora Craft Fair will feature some of the finest artists and hand crafters from all over the world.

Janet Gamache, the show's event coordinator, says, "The Mount Dora Fall Craft Fair has grown to become one of the largest shows in Florida. The event features everything from fun and whimsical to fine and sophisticated. All the items being sold are a hands on product of the person in the booth."

The Mount Dora Craft Fair features exhibitors with metal sculpture, pottery, fine and fun jewelry, soap, fashion wearables, candles, garden decor, original art, handbags, shoe makers, leather crafters, gourd art, food crafters and even plants. "The list goes on and on. If you're looking for something unique and hand crafted, you will find it at this festival," says Gamache.

Another feature making a return is the availability of beer and wine at the event. Visitors can opt to take a break from the shopping and sit down in one of Mount Dora's fabulous restaurants for full service or they can purchase a snack and a beer at a kiosk and continue walking around the event area.

This year's festival will also feature a free kid zone hosted by Real Life Church and live music by local musicians both Saturday and Sunday in Donnelly Park.

There will be shuttles running to and from the event on both days.

The Mount Dora Fall Craft Fair is a fun two-day, open-air event, with historic downtown Mount Dora as a backdrop, hosting thousands of visitors. Admission is FREE.
