By: New Jersey Minority Educational Development NJ MED's education ranking systems uses a four-quarter report poll to monitor the 20 top nations. The first quarter poll ranks the countries that invest the most in education, and the number of students in school, and the teacher to student ratio. The second quarter rankings consist of a two-month online international survey of students, parents, teachers, educators and taxpayers. Combine with information gathered from an international research study of the countries ranked in the First Quarter World Top 20 Poll. To measure the quality and learning environment. NJ MED's third quarter rankings measures the success of nations early childhood enrollment rate for 3 and 4 year olds; high school graduation rates; and college graduation rates. South Korea scored 49 points out of a possible 60, to move head of both Finland and Japan, who ranks 2nd in the third quarter poll. Mr. Albert Mitchell II, CEO/Founder of NJ MED (New Jersey Minority Educational Development) Mr. Mitchell added, "Finland continues to underperform in early childhood development. Data has shown, that early childhood education, helps in the emotional, social and physical development of young children has a direct effect on their overall development and on the adult they will become."
