Top Three Reasons Soul Music Is Making A Come Back
The rise of the grown and sexy market is a huge part of the continuation of certain types of music and acts and The GroovaLottos are becoming an iconic part of this wave. Here are three reasons why.

1. Baby Boomers and Generation Xers Still Buy Music - For the first time in the pipular music market, the music industry is discovering that people between the ages of 36 and 80 still buy lots of music, both classic and re-releases and new music from the growing 'Triple A' market that includes jam band, soul, funk, blues, blue grass/folk, and contemporary country.
2. Millenials Seek Reality In The World - Unfortunately, most decision makers in the music industry never read the children's book BREAD & JAM FOR FRANCIS and when they latch onto a trend, usually turn it into overkill. As a result of the music industry imposing a production standard of everything being sampled, cut, auto-tuned, pasted and looped, folks of the current young adult generation crave real music, played by real people, on real instruments;
3. Music Lovers Crave Storytelling - Berry Gordy made it a requirement of the songwriters at Motown to tell stories in their songs. The secret of the Memphis sound as well as Muscle Shoals was the fact that country and sou was all being produced in the same places and storytelling was central to the music. Sadly, the gloss, glitz, smoke and mirrors of computer music production has made storytelling a lost art. The artists of the soul and blues traditions are storytellers by nature.
