RAHWAY, N.J. - Sept. 23, 2017 - PRLog -- A'ndre Davis' number one urban stage play, Man Of The House, is back for a special showing during Domestic Violence Awareness Month on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at  the Hamilton Stage Theater in Rahway, New Jersey.

The much-anticipated  stage play stars producer/playwright/director/actor A'ndre Davis, along with Ne'Lashee and Steven Strickland in the title roles.  The play will show at 6pm, at the Hamilton Stage Theater at  Union County   Performing Arts Center (UCPAC), 1601 Irving St., Rahway, NJ.

The play, which has been seen by thousands of theater goers in the tri-state area since  it first debuted in 2014, was recently given a five-star review by New Jersey's  In The Spotlight magazine.  According to entertainment reporter Tiffany Bynes,    "For those who want to enjoy a relatable dramatic storyline full of laughs, "Man Of The House" is truly #1 and a must-see."

"Man Of The House" is a drama/comedy that centers around one man's struggle to save his relationship and get his life on track, while his woman runs the house and everything in it.  According to Davis, "What's interesting about this play is that it concerns the topic of domestic violence but it has a twist.  In this case, the male is the victim as opposed to being the abuser. There is a comedic aspect to the play, however it never centers around the actual abuse, therefore the audience is being educated while being entertained."

The play stars its writer/producer/director, A'ndre Davis in the leading male role of James. A staple on the R&B music scene, he has opened for such artists as Jaheim, Tamia, Joe, Tank, Brian McKnight, Wendy Williams and Patti LaBelle.  His theatre credits include having appeared and starred in such productions as "After The Walk," featuring Kelly Price, "Underneath It All," featuring Kierra Sheard as well as "Dreamgirls."

Tickets may be obtained through MOTHDV.BROWNPAPERTICKETS.COM, or by calling  800-838-3006 (tel:(800)%20838-3006). The Christ  Church Choir of Montclair, New Jersey,  directed by Christine Cullen, will open the show, which is produced by A Diamond Entertainment.
