Warren, OH (9/22/17)  Bolo Stick, a door barricade device used in schools, churches, and other public buildings has now earned endorsement by the National Organization of Church Security and Safety Management, NOCSSM.

Bolo Stick is a door barricade device designed by Howland resident, 30-year police veteran, substitute teacher, and parent William Barna. With the dramatic increase in school shootings over the past few years, Barna saw the need for a simple, safe, strong, and affordable door barricade that can be implemented in one step by students and staff alike. It is also manufactured in Warren, Ohio and is distributed nationally by Barna and his staff. While the device was originally designed with schools in mind, it is also used in other public buildings such as churches, offices, and government buildings.
