The organization's entertainment for this important event, Ashley Wineland, an Arizona resident and a long-time animal advocate and champion for their rights. Ms. Wineland has lent her voice and volunteer time to various animal rescue groups and charities over the years, including Pets For Patriots, PetSmart Charities, Dreamchaser PMU Horse Rescue and Rehabilitation, and Mobile Minis. In 2016, a unique opportunity presented for animal-lover Ashley that really resounded with her and left a permanent mark in her heart. She was invited as a celebrity guest to view firsthand the inner-workings of SeaWorld San Diego. During her time with the dedicated staff at SeaWorld, she was able to get "up close and personal" with many of the animals that are rescued and rehabilitated at the facility — even taking part in the releasing of rehabilitated Sea Lions back to the wild open spaces of the Pacific Ocean. This will remain a favorite and lasting memory for Wineland. She brings that same passion to the wonderful folks at Tierra Madre Horse Sanctuary.
Regarding this special appearance supporting Tierra Madre Horse Sanctuary, Wineland enthusiastically states, "It is an honor to be a part of such a wonderful event. As someone who volunteers a lot of their time to animal rescues, I can say that Tierra Madre is one of the best horse rescues that I have worked with. Their compassion and the work that they do is incredible. I encourage everyone to come out to the benefit to lend their support and see firsthand the magic that Tierra Madre brings into all of their animal's lives."
At the time of her appearance at this benefit, Wineland will be fresh off the final leg of her 2017 "She's Gone" national tour. Recently, Wineland celebrated her video for "She's Gone" -- which inspired the tour -- reaching the milestone of half a million views! Besides this October 14th charitable performance, Wineland has numerous other appearances pending in her home state, which include an October 28th performance at Billy Moore Days in Avondale, AZ, a November 25th show at the 84th Annual Florence Junior Parada Rodeo in Florence, AZ, and a December 2nd appearance at the Taco, Beer, Music and Lucha Wrestling and Music Festival in Tucson, AZ.
