Bavarian Inn hosts 'Fall Harvest Wine Dinner' Oct. 13

FRANKENMUTH, Mich. - Sept. 18, 2017 - PRLog -- October in Michigan brings cooler weather, changing leaves, and one of the season's most anticipated culinary events – The Bavarian Inn Restaurant's (http://www.bavarianinn.com/) annual "Fall Harvest Wine Dinner" on Friday, Oct. 13 beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Silver Plate Award-winning Chef Phil Fahrenbruch has planned and will be preparing a special seasonal five-course dinner featuring wine, cider, and a guest speaker from Chateau Chantal Winery, (http://www.chateauchantal.com/) located on Traverse City's Old Mission Peninsula.

The menu includes maple-cured salmon with roasted beetroot served with a Semi Dry Riesling, chicken gumbo accompanied by Chateau Chantal's Amour Malbec Rosé, and seared beef carpaccio with a Pinot Noir. The main course is a cider and Dijon pork chop with roasted apples and sweet potatoes accompanied by Naughty Apple Michigan Hard Cider. For dessert, enjoy a slice of Bavarian Inn Founder Dorothy Zehnder's traditional carrot cake served with Chateau Chantal's Pinot Grigio.

Price for this special "Fall Harvest Wine Dinner" event is $60 per person, which includes all food and listed beverages, tax, and gratuity. Reservations and prepayment are required.
