By: Envision Children The event, sponsored by Envision Children and Prime Cincinnati, will be Friday evening, 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., and is expected to draw more than 500 people. The sprawling event will take place both indoors and outdoors at Prime Cincinnati, 580 Walnut St., 45202, with a professional fire performer, magicians and other entertainers extending the fun outdoors to the ample, heated patio. Red Carpet Casino Night is a fundraiser that will benefit Envision Children. Envision Children is a 501c3 nonprofit, whose mission is to provide under-served students with supplemental educational instruction in science, technology, engineering, math, reading and critical thinking to help them excel academically. "Last year over 400 people had a great time at our inaugural Casino Night," said Matt Hughes, Envision Children's Interim Executive Director and coordinator of the event. "I think this year's version of the extravaganza is going to bigger and better." The Red Carpet Casino Night will feature 15 gaming tables, including: Blackjack, Roulette, Craps and a variety of poker games including Stud, 5-Card Draw and Texas Hold 'Em. Since the gambling is for fun and fundraising only, guests will collect the chips they win at the games. At the end of the evening prizes will be awarded to the Top Five guests who have accumulated the most chips. All guests will be able to redeem their chips for a chance to win a "Mega Door Prize." Other entertainment will include: musical acts "Azica" and "Dawn & Joe," a trickster running "street games" such as Three Card Monte, professional fire performers and caricature artists to hand sketch guests. Food will be delicious and plentiful all evening - in food stations throughout the restaurant and patio, as well as appetizers and finger foods offered by circulating servers. New this year will be the special Cumulus Radio Red Carpet Festival from 6:30-7 p.m. The festival will feature paparazzi and souvenir photos, a live radio broadcast on Warm 98 FM, with interviews by Bob and Marianne from the morning show and Brian Demay from the afternoon drive. General admission is $65 per person, and includes food and free gaming all evening. VIP Tickets are $150 each, and include food and gaming, access to the Patrice & Associates VIP lounge located in the main bar area of the restaurant, valet parking and admittance to an after-party at JACK Casino Cincinnati. A fully stocked cash bar will be available all night. For more information or to buy tickets, visit http://www.envisionchildren.org, or call 513-772-KIDS (5437). End
