WASHINGTON - Sept. 14, 2017 - PRLog -- On Saturday, October 14th, 2017 from 10:00am- 2:00 pm Science, Engineering and Mathematics Link Inc. (SEM Link) will host its 2nd Annual DMV (DC, Maryland and Virginia) Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Career Fair and Exhibition at the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) Student Center. This fun family event will provide K-12 students with an opportunity to explore careers and meet and interact with professionals in these fields.UDC is located at 4200 Connecticut Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20008. The STEM Career Fair and Exhibition, which is sponsored by the Jack and Jill of America Foundation and the US Department of Energy (DOE),  is SEM Link's Math and Science Career Academy's signature event that features exhibitors (STEM professionals, undergraduate and graduate students, and retirees) that conduct hands on demonstrations or showcase real-world applications of STEM.  The event is designed to facilitate students visiting the tables of exhibitors moving freely between activities. "If we are going to ensure that we have the pipeline for the future STEM workforce, it is important to expose youth to STEM nd STEM Careers as early as we can.
