Cannabis: Blazing new trends in Asheville's skincare market

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Sept. 12, 2017 - PRLog -- For Jennifer Maves, natural skincare is a way of life.

"I use hemp in many of my products, but I wanted to take it a step further helping people with extreme sensitive skin," Maves said, who started the Asheville-Based skincare line in 2013.

Zensitive Serum CBD is infused with 50mg of CBD, a key component of Cannabis that accounts for many of the plant's natural health benefits .

The CBD isolate is sourced directly from Blue Ridge Hemp Company, an Asheville-based company that produces CBD products for pain and wellness management.

The serum combines the skin-nourishing ingredients of aloe leaf, colloidal oatmeal, botanical blend of Algae, chamomile and horsetail, with Cannabis Sativa Seed (Hemp) oil and CBD oil.

"I'm a very simple girl and for me, it all boils down to selecting the right ingredients, at optimum levels and the multitasks of each ingredient," Maves said. "I don't want a ton of different products, just simple, natural ingredients that are effective."

Maves began her passion for plant-based skincare when she moved to Asheville over a decade ago.

"I chose Asheville because I love the mountains and I wanted to live in an area where

natural healing is taught," Maves said. "Asheville is a great place to learn. It's a mecca

of entrepreneurs of people really into health, plants, aromatherapy and I learn from

people every day."

Today, her products can be found in six states including North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee and Virginia.
