There are two deadly diseases that India's youth and children are facing the risk of- diabetes and obesity. While there are many theories and scientific reasons available today at various platforms to talk about the cause of the disease, hardly any of them manages to break them down to layman's terms. Many theories, suggestions are also available which claim to provide scientific reasons and solutions to the cause of diseases. But neither these solutions are not scientifically viable nor healthy.
The book 'The Scienti-Fit' takes the readers on a tour through the world of fitness, logically and eloquently elucidating the various factors that lead to obesity and other lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and hypothyroidism. In order to provide healthy, easy and sustainable solutions to these diseases Dr. Kalpesh Malik has penned down the real and scientific reasons behind these diseases. He has also given easy solutions for curing the same.
The author has also explained how these conditions develop, how they can be prevented, and how they can be reversed most of the time. He has also developed new techniques to achieve fat loss and muscle gain in the shortest possible time without the use of steroids.
Dr. Kalpesh Malik is a renowned cardiac surgeon since 1998. He is a logical thinker who feels that management of diseases is incomplete without the knowledge of exercise physiology and nutritional science. Along with his wife, Ravinder Kaur, he started a fitness company, The Scientifit Healthcare and Wellness Services that offers its clients various fitness plans such as fat loss, bodybuilding, and reversal of lifestyle diseases. He has successfully managed over 1200 clients in the span of a year. The company has bagged 'The International Healthcare Awards 2017', established by the Times Cybermedia Group in Mumbai on 16th July 2017.
He runs a Facebook page The Scientifit and a Facebook group The Scientifit Community through which he tries to propagate the concept of logical fitness. This book is his endeavour to touch lives with the concept that fitness is very logical and scientific and that every person has a right to be fit.
