US trade with Mexico in the 2nd quarter of 2017

Sept. 3, 2017 - PRLog -- In the 2nd quarter of 2017, US trade with Mexico totaled $140.5 billion, up 5.21% ($7.0 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US exports to Mexico in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $60.1 billion, up 3.64% ($2.1 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US imports from Mexico in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $80.4 billion, up 6.41% ($4.8 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US trade deficit with Mexico in the 2nd quarter of 2017 was $20.3 billion, a 15.56% increase ($2.7 billion) over the 2nd quarter of 2016.

Mexico was the US 3rd largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 14.2414% of US total trade (down from 14.4275% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Mexico was the US 2nd largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 15.6213% of US total exports (down from 15.9482% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Mexico was the US 2nd largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 13.3593% of US total imports (down from 13.4438% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).
