US trade with Canada in the 1st quarter of 2017

Aug. 26, 2017 - PRLog -- In the 1st quarter of 2017, US trade with Canada totaled $142.2 billion, up 7.53% ($10.0 billion) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US exports to Canada in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $66.7 billion, up 4.72% ($3.0 billion) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US imports from Canada in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $75.5 billion, up 10.15% ($7.0 billion) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US trade deficit with Canada in the 1st quarter of 2017 was $8.8 billion, a 81.77% increase ($3.9 billion) over the 1st quarter of 2016.

Canada was the US 2nd largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2017 (just as in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 15.1615% of US total trade (up from 15.1165% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

Canada was the US largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2017 (just as in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 17.9132% of US total exports (down from 18.3367% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

Canada was the US 3rd largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2017 (just as in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 13.3493% of US total imports (up from 12.9952% in the 1st quarter of 2016).
