Two Men and A Truck step up to help with 18th Annual Walk For Wishes, benefiting Make-A-Wish

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Aug. 24, 2017 - PRLog -- TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® was proud to be an in-kind sponsor of the 18th Annual Walk For Wishes, Saturday August 19on the south steps of the State Capitol. The annual event benefited  Make-A-Wish Northeastern California and Northern Nevada to help grant wishes for local children battling life-threatening medical conditions.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® were eager to get them ready for their event. "We are so grateful for all that Two Men and a Truck do for us. They are wonderful supporters of ours and through their generosity, we are able to grant more wishes to children in our community." says Jennifer Stolo, CEO, Make-A-Wish Northeastern California and Northern Nevada.

Long known as the Movers Who Care® (http://www.twomenandatruck.com/moving-services), TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® locations across the country, as well as the Home Office located in Lansing, Mich., strive to continuously give back to the communities around them through various community service projects and donations. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Sacramento has helped Make-A-Wish Northeastern California and Northern Nevada grant more than 35 wishes for children in the community.

Make-A-Wish® Northeastern California and Northern Nevada is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. The local chapter, located in Sacramento serves 37 counties in California and Nevada, including six counties in the mid-valley.

The chapter has granted more than 6,000 wishes since they were established in 1983 and was one of the earliest Make-A-Wish chapter formed.  With the help of generous donors, community supporters, and dedicated volunteers, the chapter is able to grant more than 275 wishes each year.
