StarGreen Capital Names Justin Braune Chief Business Development Officer

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - July 11, 2017 - PRLog -- StarGreen Capital has tapped Justin Braune, former president of cannabis distribution and compliance company MJIC, as Chief Business Development Officer of the venture capital firm's newly formed $100 million legal cannabis investment platform, announced CEO Paul Danreshad.

Braune brings a broad base of experience across a variety of industries to StarGreen, which will provide working capital and business development services to qualified partners in California's legal medical and recreational cannabis industries. Focusing primarily on real estate acquisitions, Braune played an integral role in helping MJIC enter into new markets and expand its customer base globally.  Previously, he served as CEO for two cannabis sector companies currently traded on the OTC market: Vape Holdings  and Agritek Holdings. Justin is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy having earned a BS in Electrical Engineering and a MS in Nuclear Engineering.  While serving as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy he operated nuclear reactors on the USS RONALD REAGAN until the completion of his military commitment.  Justin also has an MBA from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business.

Last month, StarGreen, a wholly owned subsidiary of the privately held real estate investment firm StarPoint Properties, announced its plans to invest $100 million over the next 12 months to support entrepreneurs in California's legal medical and recreational cannabis industries.
