DM Dr Birendra Prasad Yadav - Assistance To Flood Affected People

District Magistrate Dr. Birendra Prasad Yadav told Jagaran that all flood victims affected by the flood will get six-six thousand rupees declared by the government.
 
DARBHANGA, India - May 15, 2017 - PRLog -- The district administration has started working on this in view of the decision of the state government to provide assistance to a large population of five blocks of the district which has completely destroyed the flood. The state government will give six-six thousand rupees to each victim's family as a help to the nearly five lakh people who have destroyed everything in their flood. In order to avoid the role of middlemen, the government will transfer this amount to the direct bank account of the victims. So that the direct benefit to the sufferer. After this order of the state government, the district administration has started to implement it. District Magistrate Dr. Birendra Prasad Yadav told Jagaran that all flood victims affected by the flood will get six-six thousand rupees declared by the government. This amount will be sent directly to the victim's bank account. Work has started for this. He said that a committee has been constituted at the village and Panchayat level. In the committee, Panchayat Secretary, Revenue Worker, Housing Assistant and Anganwadi Sevika have been included. The committee has to submit the names of the victims and list of bank accounts in the districts within a week. The committee can also take help from the local public representatives. The District Magistrate said that the committee will be responsible for preparing the list of victims after going from house to house. So that there is no disturbance For monitoring, the Block Development Officer and the Officer-in-Charge have been assigned the responsibility.

Crop harvesting also begins to assess

Ara: The estimation has now begun on the crop damage of the destroyed farmers in the flood. District Magistrate Dr. Birendra Prasad Yadav said that on the orders of the state government the work of survey has been started by the Agriculture Department. A separate committee has been formed for this at the Panchayat level. Agriculture Coordinator, Panchayat Farmer Advisor and Revenue Officer have been included in this. The committee also has to submit its report within a week. The amount determined by the State Government will be sent to the farmers' account. For this, land receipt and bank account is being collected from farmers. The letter regarding the determination of the amount has not yet been received by the District Headquarters.
