ROSEVILLE, Calif. - April 25, 2017 - PRLog -- As eco-friendly consciousness rises higher and higher with its ever-steady sights on the fashion and apparel industry, Regarding Sustainability has finally launched and it's an eye full! Offering all aspects of sustainable fashion, from brand representation for up-and-comers in the fashion industry, consumer education, consumer initiatives and even an online store, it may only be just a start for the mega site, but a strong and sturdy one, nonetheless.

ROSEVILLE, Cali. – Apr. 25, 2017 – Every year on April 24 since 2013, all facets of the fashion industry remember the tragic events that took place at Rana Plaza in Bangladesh, in what was the biggest loss of life disaster to ever hit the fashion world. The day has become known as Fashion Revolution Day and it is when all consumers of fashion are asked to stand up for transparency by asking their favorite brands Who Made My Clothes? It was on this date of this year that Regarding Sustainability's founder, Sam Bone, saw fit to release the site out in to the vast worldwide web, for whomever may need it.

Transparency, as well as sustainability, human rights and ethics have taken the fashion industry by storm and consumers attitudes are shifting to a more conscious place. The point of Regarding Sustainability is to propel and give an extra push to this niche of the market. The site aims to be a go-to place for lovers of fashion as a resource (and to shop!) and the spot on the web where eco-fashion designers will seek out representation.

Launching only at the beginning of this year, the site has already featured celebrities and designer interviews on their content-rich blog. Notable mentions include author Elizabeth Cline ("Overdressed: The Shockingly High Cost of Cheap Fashion"), musician Brody Dalle (The Distillers, Spinnerette) and designers like Grenada's Lyb'rtee Rose and fashion movements like AWAYTOMARS.

In addition to the layers on content available within the pages of Regarding Sustainability is its store, called #LastFashion. The store currently offers resale (or thrift) clothing and carries everything from fast fashion brands like Forever 21 and H&M (as well as Target brands), up to designer brands (Betsey Johnson and Adrianna Papell dresses for more than ½ off!) The goal of #LastFashion is to "take the power back from fast fashion," and from the looks of the store so far, prices are extremely competitive. #LastFashion is positioning itself to give sites like thredUP and The Attic a run for their money. Another huge plus about #LastFashion? They donate %15 of every sale to fashion education in the United States!

The sites founder, Sam Bone, has formerly worked in promotions and marketing as well as hands-on in the fashion industry, most of his work focused on resale and the nonprofit sector. Regarding Sustainability has been an idea for years, only to truly come to life and find a purpose at the end of 2016. When Sam isn't focusing on the website, he is busy earning his MA in Marketing.
