Newberry, SC (April 20, 2017) - Featuring local wine and live music, Enoree River Winery's second annual Pack the Porch spring series will begin Sunday, May 7, at the winery and vineyard in Newberry, South Carolina and will continue every Sunday afternoon in May from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
This free, wine event welcomes both local and out-of-town guests at South Carolina's very own, local vineyard, conveniently located just 30 minutes northwest of Columbia. Guests can relax on the covered, wraparound porch overlooking the luscious vineyard or bring blankets and chairs to enjoy music and wine from the vineyard grounds. A variety of refreshing, seasonal wines by Enoree River Winery will be available for purchase by the glass and bottle at the event. New, local talent will take the stage each Sunday. Bluegrass Remedy featuring Henry Brooks playing bluegrass music on May 7
Alex Davis playing keyboard on May 14
The Time Pirates playing 60's & 70's music on May 21
Noel Lindler playing acoustic guitar & harmonica on May 29
Guests are invited to bring snacks and friends while sharing in a day full of delicious wine, live music, dancing, laughter and memories. Dogs are also welcome at the event, but must remain on leashes and be well socialized with other dogs and people.
Parking is free. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited from being brought on or consumed on the property. Only alcohol that is a product sold by Enoree River Winery may be consumed. No coolers or personal cups are allowed. The vineyard and winery is smoke free environment with the exception of a designated, smoking area.Soft drinks & water will be available for purchase along with wine by the bottle and glass. Wine tastings will not be served on Sundays in May. Admission is free, and guests are welcome to bring snacks, blankets & chairs. Nestled in the heart of Newberry County, Enoree River Winery is a family-owned and operated vineyard and winery. The 8 acre vineyard was originally planted in 2006 by owners, Richard and Laura LaBarre, and other family members. The winery offers guests muscadine, fruit and Vinifera wines for tastings and purchase. The location is also available for private parties, weddings and other special events.
