"So I'm coming back to London, and I'm armed to the teeth with several things. First up is my new MacBook, which is so the nuts I think it may actually have pubic hair. I'll soon be able to record my own music and vocals.

Secondly is a new sense of freedom. I am returning to my city with fire in my guts. Seen the family? Check. Had a little break? Check. Sorted the flat out? Check. Time to attack film and music as you have dreamt of doing since you were a boy? Check city, babycakes.

And I'm looking forward to getting back in the new flat; the new hotspot at Studio 107 that is destined to become "The HOTHouse".

But more on that later. I can't wait to see the view, the East side of London (heh - I'm an East Sider now... makes me feel like I should throw up gang signs and walk like I recently stepped toe-first into a paving slab), the Olympolice, everything.

I then recall our flat is on a pre-paid meter, and is all electricity. We have no gas. OK, cool, no worries. I enter the flat and grab the prepay card, bomb it round the corner shop and ask for 40 quid's worth. May as well light up for a week, right?"

I was a little wary buying this book with no reviews. But, I was interested in the eclectic life of the individual in this, clearly, semi-biographical book. I loved it from start to finish. Stephen Brocklehurst, you sir, are a genius.
