Follow on Google News | Grand Hyatt Bali Certified As an ISO 22000:2005 HotelGrand Hyatt Bali has been officially certified as an ISO 22000:2005 Hotel from SGS Indonesia.
By: Grand Hyatt Bali The ISO 22000 sets out the requirement for a food safety management system and ensures the highest standard of safety and hygiene. Part of the ISO 22000 certification process is Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point or HACCP procedures which focus on the prevention of biological, chemical, and physical hazard in food production process. The certification process at Grand Hyatt Bali took two days from November 23 to 24, 2016 and the result was announced on February 9, 2017 by SGS. In order to obtain ISO 22000:2005, series of audit were conducted in multiple areas of the hotel, from guests' restaurants, employee restaurant to back of house. "Obtaining ISO 22000:2005 certificate is an important achievement for us as it does not only guarantee food safety but also educate our associate on the importance of hygiene and safety," says Mr. Greg Odolak, Grand Hyatt Bali's Executive Chef.
