Maharajas Express Special Journey this March
Maharajas Express, one of the leading award-winning luxury trains of India, is offering a special journey Jewels of India in March.

The journey will commence from and end at the Safdurjung railway station of Delhi. One of the highlights is royal traditional welcome with garland and tikka on destination railway stations. The well-planned itinerary includes sightseeing, special meals, wildlife spotting, shopping and much more. Some of the highlights of this special journey on-board the Maharajas' Express are early morning visit to the Taj Mahal, exploring the world heritage site of Fatehpur Sikri, wildlife safari inside the popular Ranthambore National Park, the magnificent Amer Fort in Jaipur, the medieval-age temples of Osiyan, the mighty Mehrangarh fort of Jodhpur, and a peaceful boat ride in Lake Pichola of Udaipur.

It has also been a winner of the popular "World's Leading Luxury Train" at The World Travel Awards continuously for five years in a row, i.e. in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. Maharajas' Express, luxury train is maintained and managed by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). It features 14 guest carriages, named after precious stone such as Mooga (Coral), Heera (Diamond), Firoza (Turquoise), Katela (Amethyst), and so on. Every cabin offers delightful sights of the fascinating landscape of India. All the cabins come with modern comforts like wireless internet, attached bathroom with premium toiletries, comfortable beds with rich linen, air-conditioner with individual climate control, and so on. The interiors of the train of India are equally plush.
The well-mannered staff offers impeccable Indian hospitality. There are 2 multi-cuisine restaurants - Rang Mahal and Mayur Mahal, along with a souvenir coach, generator, store cars and a lounge area.
