New York Minute Productions Presents 'A Funny Valentine' Stage Play

LOS ANGELES - Feb. 3, 2017 - PRLog -- New York Minute Productions brings the humor in 2017 with 'A Funny Valentine' a knockout new play by Writer/Producer Dominique Becton. The show debuts at The Complex Theatre in Hollywood, February 10 – 12, 2017.  Tickets are on sale now.

The story revolves around Chris who is afraid of love, but is tired of living a playboy lifestyle, so he seeks the help of Felicia, a sexy therapist. Will Felicia be able to help him heal from his past hurts and fears? Or will Miko - a woman he met in one night and falls hard for - be the one to capture his heart and help him conquer his fear of falling in love? Or will his past come back around and ruin his chances with Miko?

A Funny Valentine explores what happens when the fear of love intersects with the pull of temptation and the fallout that comes when our past and present relationships collide!

"I love the stage!', says playwright Dominique Becton. "My last stage production was back in 2010 and I've been craving to get my words back on a theatre stage ever since. There is nothing like hearing the reactions of a live audience backstage.There  (backstage) is where you learn and hear out loud what the audience liked or disliked about your character. I love the live feedback. Everything is raw, there's no redos. It's an exciting rush that makes me feel good inside. A rush that motivates me to write", she stated

"I also wanted to write a love comedy to get peoples minds off what's been going on in the world. Allow some people to take a laugh break and get in the mood for love".
