EconoLux Announces VFX Series LED COB Grow/plant Light

WAN CHAI, Hong Kong - Jan. 25, 2017 - PRLog -- EconoLux Industries (www.econoluxindustries.com/), a leading manufacturer of LED grow/plant lights and components, is pleased to announce the release of our ELPL-VXS series LED COB grow light engines.  The ELPL-COB-VFX series is designed as an entry level, full spectrum, COB for home growing.

     Unlike other so-called "full spectrum" LED COBs on the market, the VXS series produces a full spectrum of light from 390nm to 750nm.  The spectral curve of the VXS has a reasonably close match to the McCree curve (75%), as well as a reasonably close match to the spectrum of sunlight.

     The VXS series is available in 50W and 100W models to suit the needs of a variety of home growing applications - 200W modes are available by special order. The VXS Series is ideal for home growing both leafy green plants, and flowering and/or fruiting plants.

     The 50 watt VXS model offers an output of 1,314.3 PAR/PPFD at a distance of 15 cm (6") and an output of  327.7 PAR/PPFD at a distance of 30.6cm (12") from the COB.  The 100 watt VXS model provides an output of 2,627.5 PAR/PPFD at a distance of 15 cm (6") and an output of 654.4 PAR/PPFD at a distance of 30.6cm (12") from the COB.  The DLI for the 50W VXS is 28.32, and for the 100W VXS is 50.54 at a distance of 3.5cm (12").

     The ELPL-VXS LED light engines have a beam angle of 120 degrees (without the use of reflectors or supplementary lenses).  The lifespan for all models of the VXS series is 50,000 hours, with a colour temperature of 15,570 Kelvin.
