Follow on Google News | Company Creates Coffee Passport Program To Help Indie Coffee Shops in PittsburghBy: Coffee Passport Pittsburgh In addition to new customers due to an aggressive grass-roots marketing campaign by the company, participating coffee shops are compensated for each passport drink redeemed, infusing cash into the independent coffee scene. This is a great day for indie coffee shops," said Julie Kahlbaugh, co-founder of the program. "There are so many great indie coffee shops throughout the city, each one unique in atmosphere, but all very competent in quality, most surpassing chain coffee by light years. We want people to know that there are other (better) options than just Starbucks, but more than that, we also want to do our part in making sure indie shops stick around." This time around, nine coffee shops participated in the program, including: Espresso A Mano, Caffe D' Amore, Mechanic Coffee, Gasoline Street Coffee, Delanie's, The Abbey, Artisan Café, Black Forge, and DiAnoia's Eatery. This version of Coffee Passport Pittsburgh will run from January 1 - June 1. For more information on the program, visit https://coffeepassportpgh.com/ End
