Mosaic Harmony Confirms Participants at One Humankind in Music World Interfaith Harmony Week Concert
By: Mosaic Harmony
North, a successful songwriter in his own right, wrote the song "One Humankind" upon which the theme of the concert is based, with the intention of specifically using it in Mosaic Harmony's concerts and a natural tie in to their theme "Make Us One." North has invited other choirs who are like-minded in their approach to music and their place in the world to participate in the January 28 event, which Mosaic Harmony committed to producing annually at various venues in the area. The concert will be an opportunity to meet choirs from throughout the area and to show that music is indeed the universal language that brings people together. Says North, "producing a concert with our friends in celebration of World Interfaith Harmony Week was a no brainer, clearly this is our wheelhouse, we live and believe in this mission."
Mosaic Harmony will be traveling in March 2017 to participate in the International Peace and Brotherhood Choral Festival in the Castelli Romani region near Rome Italy. They will participate in four performances in churches and community settings, tour Rome, Vatican City, and nearby hill towns and gardens, and meet, perform, and socialize with other choirs.
On June 3, 2017, they will host their 23rd annual fundraiser concert, which will be held at Reston Community Center Hunter Woods. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities will be available beginning February 1, 2017. For additional information on 2017 World Interfaith Harmony Week visit http://www.worldinterfaithharmonyweek.com.
