 4th Annual Commonwealth Motors Christmas Classic Basketball Tournament
ccmc- For the Fourth year in a row Commonwealth Motors is the proud sponsor and host of the Commonwealth Motors Christmas Classic Basketball tournament. The past years' tournaments have been a huge success and we're shooting for the stars with 2016! Sixteen teams (eight boys and eight girls) and over 300 players, coaches and team managers gathered together to celebrate at our banquet on Sunday, December 11, 2016. It was all part of the coming together for the fourth year and future years to continue the tradition of the Commonwealth Motors Christmas Classic. And to make it bigger and better every year, Tournament sponsor Charlie Daher, owner of Commonwealth Motors, gave out 16 $1,000 scholarships to seniors on each of the tourney teams. The committee believes the renewed energy and Commonwealth Motors' generosity are reigniting a return to the glory years, when the Christmas tourney was frequently called the best tourney of its kind in New England.
