Simexa participated in Dubai Downtown Design show

DUBAI, UAE - Dec. 16, 2016 - PRLog -- Simexa, the luxury outdoor furniture supplier and solution provider attended the fourth edition of Dubai Downtown Design show that took place at the Dubai Design District. The main purpose of Simexa's participation in this event is introducing Maiori solar garden lights and outdoor furniture to the Middle East.

The Downtown Design is an exhibition for the region's trade professionals to discover new designs from around the world, from lighting, furniture and accessories to kitchens and bathrooms. The show has for objective to gather the brands with the buyers, and create business opportunities. According to many sources, including Simexa representatives, the show was definitely a success.

During the expo, Simexa occupied an area of around 125 sqm divided into an outdoor and indoor space, where they displayed Maiori outdoor furniture and La Lampe outdoor solar lighting collections. Maiori lightings were previously introduced to the Middle East during Simexa's participation in the Hotel Show in last September, also held in Dubai. The latter was seen by the outdoor furniture supplier as a successful launching event, therefore, they decided to take it up a notch with the Downtown Design.

As expected by Simexa's CEO, Mr. Manuel Stanislas, the show was also a success where they were able to establish direct and strong relations with attendees. According to Mr. Stanislas: "Our participation in the Downtown Design show has been interesting, where we met with many VIPs and designers from all over the world." In addition, this event opened the door to Simexa to create business opportunities. On that, Mr. Stanislas commented: "From a commercial point of view, we were able to collect many contacts and prospects for future projects and collaborations, and this is definitely rewarding for the business."

According to Mr. Stanislas, the visitors of Simexa's stand were stunned by two main products: the AT800 outdoor furniture collection and La Lampe Paris. The first one was the actual star of Maiori products due to its finishing and the attention to details that captivated all connoisseurs' attention. To reduce its weight, it has been constituted by a teak folding chair and a table with perforated sheet metal tabletop that lets rain and light through.

On another hand, La Lampe Paris surprised the visitors with its size and technology. Being weather resistant, it can be placed anywhere, either indoors or outdoors. In addition, Paris can be adapted to work as both hanging or standing lamp, and can be recharged with solar energy. Also, it is created with an automatic power saving mode that is activated by light sensor.
