ROSCOE, N.Y. - Dec. 14, 2016 - PRLog -- Float Your Boat Media has launched a new financial literacy course for youth and adults called Where Does My Money Go? The blended learning platform provides instruction in financial concepts, common terminology, useful guidance, and everyday tools. As with other Float Your Boat courses, our platform accommodates individuals and service organizations. Its goal is to empower people to make informed decisions about their financial lives and build the foundation for a lifetime of responsible financial behavior.

"Float Your Boat was founded with a mission to improve the employability and earning power of under-served youth and adults. Now we focus on the value that financial education brings to individuals, families, and their broader communities," says Jay Rabinowitz, Managing Director. "Young, old, employed, unemployed, English fluent, new English learners, citizens and immigrants all have compelling reasons for improving their financial knowledge and security. A basic understanding of current financial practices and institutions will give them the resources to make informed decisions."

Float Your Boat believes that increasing financial knowledge in low-income populations will allow many people to rise from America's social safety net to long-term self-sufficiency. We also observe that government, non-profit and faith-based social services organizations face an array of challenges in reaching and supporting clients. In turn, their clients have limited time, space, and resources. We have created a focused and accessible learning solution that addresses both individual and organizational needs.
