Outshining and Inspiring-Entertainment Guru Mike Majik Boyd is back on the scene

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Dec. 11, 2016 - PRLog -- The music industry has always embraced artistic icons from Elvis Presley to Marvin Gaye with a mission to inspire global cultures. One kept successful model has been for an entertainer to always showcase various genres and there seem to be a few left on the scene. Mike Majik Boyd a renowned singer and songwriter who writes numerous styles of music with his  "message music" has been changing the lives of adults and children that it reaches with its positive uplifting messages. Mike Boyd is a motivating, inspirational reacher who wrote his signature song "I Stand For You" to bring his message of universal humanity to everyone. People call it the universal anthem. His #1 hit single, "American Soldier Thank You (for all the things you do)" is playing on several hundred radio stations across the country and numerous internet stations worldwide. He followed that with "We Love Our Soldiers – Red, White and Blue" to honor our servicemen and women and Veterans.

Mike's newest Christmas song just released, "I Can't Wait for Christmas", takes us back to the days when Christmas music had the spirit of the holidays. This feel-good, family-friendly song sparks memories of the thrill and anticipation of the magic of Christmas.

Mike has also toured the country with his show "Trip Down Memory Lane, A Tribute to Sam Cooke". The show had a long run at the Hollywood Park Casino in Los Angeles. He has performed the music of Sam Cooke in "Legends in Concert" at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Las Vegas and in "Country, Soul and Rock 'n Roll" at the Riverside Casino and Hotel in Laughlin.

Mike has received numerous awards including his own day awarded by the Mayor of his hometown. He has received the Golden Star Halo Award for writing and composing and honors in the Billboard Songwriting Contest and was considered for a Grammy nomination. He appeared as Roland on the hit daytime drama "Days of Our Lives" for three years.

He was the #1 high school pitcher in the South for two years and #3 in the nation. He received hundreds of scholarship offers and was the 2nd round draft pick to the Los Angeles Dodgers and the 7th round draft pick to the Oakland As. He is solely responsible for the return of women's professional baseball and he created the philosophy of "Base-All" and a new technique to teach the game of baseball properly called "Step, Hip, Hands!". He has trained thousands of students of all ages and has many students make it to professional baseball and to the Major Leagues. He uses "Base-All" to spread the message of universality on the baseball field which flows into everyday life. He has most recently created an exciting new 6-player, 1-hour baseball game called "StandStill Baseball" and is in the process of professionalizing it.
