BioTrans hires President of Global Operations

WEST BRIDGEWATER, Mass. - Dec. 8, 2016 - PRLog -- Biotrans would like to announce, that after an extensive nationwide search, Sirish Rao Vattam has been selected by our Executive Committee to join Biotrans as our President of Global Operations.

Mr. Vattam brings a wealth of knowledge, as a global operations and supply chain leader, with 10+ years of deep operations, strategy, and general management experience.  Additionally, Mr. Vattam has a demonstrated track-record of designing and executing strategies to lead and grow high performing teams. He is experienced in managing teams across North America and Europe, spearheading outsourcing initiatives, driving cross-functional strategic projects, and leading restructuring efforts in the biotech, healthcare, and telecommunications sectors. In his most recent role, he worked for DaVita Healthcare Partners Inc., a $16B Fortune 250 healthcare company, as a Regional Operations Director in the Maryland market where he was responsible for managing a $60M+ P&L and a team of 250+ employees. He has lived and worked in North America, Europe, and Asia and is currently settled in Maryland with his family.

As President, Global Operations, Mr. Vattam will have oversight of our strategic direction, future expansion, and operations, while continuing to strengthen our existing partnerships. Mr. Vattam is excited to join the Biotrans leadership team and serve as a tireless advocate for the needs of our customers.
