By: Gra'it Grappa MIAMI - Dec. 8, 2016 - PRLog -- The ten finalists have been announced for the Miami round of The Gra'it Challenge, a five-city competition that will award seven national winners a 10-day trip to Italy. Gra'it, co-created by Distillerie Bonollo Umberto and Luca Fabris, CEO of DBU USA Inc., Bonollo's U.S. subsidiary, is the world's first grappa specifically created for use in cocktails and the world's first grappa brand to organize a mixology competition for grappa.
A panel of nationally recognized judges, including Camper English, Julie Reiner and Vincenzo Marianella, selected the ten winning cocktail recipes from nearly 50 submissions. The chosen bartender finalists are: 1. Hector Acevedo 2. Marc Volpicelli 3. Nicholas Notarpole 4. Philip Khanderish 5. Joshua LaBrada 6. David Grossman 7. Gregory Goldstein 8. Giorgia Crea 9. Josue Romero 10. Estafania Fernandez They will prepare their Gra'it cocktails live, with a narrative explaining their alchemy, in front of Miami's regional judges Julio Cabrera, Cesar E. Diaz and Jamie Evans.
