2016 Toys for Tots at Century Auto Group

MT. AIRY, Md. - Dec. 7, 2016 - PRLog -- Century Auto Group of Mt. Airy is elated to be one of the official sponsors for the 2016 Toys for Tots program. Your friends here at Century are holding a duo of events on site at 302 Century Drive in Mt. Airy, MD. Bring any of your new, unwrapped toys to either of the Century Auto Group stores to make a contribution before December 18th. Monetary donations are also accepted for this cause. Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas. The program was founded in 1947 by reservist Major Bill Hendricks and Century is proud to be continuing this great tradition.

On December 10th and December 17th, the Century Auto Group will be holding events to raise toys for this fantastic cause. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on December 10th and from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on December 17th, we will be holding events to celebrate and promote the Toys for Tots campaign. The local radio station WFRE 99.9 and the U.S. Marine Corps will be present at both of these events. There will also be a Toys for Tots Finale at Walmart on the intersection of Route 26 and Monocacy Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the 18th of December. Join us in making this Christmas a joyous one for everyone. This program works to aid local families in need and your friends here at the Century Auto Group are more than happy to help out.
