Functional Fitness with Suzanne Andrews airs on Maine Public Television
Maine residents start their day the healthy way with Functional Fitness with Suzanne Andrews on Maine Public Television.
A licensed Occupational Therapy clinician, Andrews demonstrates medically proven movements to ease joint pain, strengthen bones and aid in weight loss for those that need to focus on improving their health and life span. "We focus on being a size healthy, not a size skinny" states Andrews. "A viewer wrote me today and said her blood pressure went down 18 points in 4 weeks by doing the Younger in 30 Days DVD. That's what the series focuses on - getting and remaining healthy."
Each program is designed with two to three fitness levels including chair exercises and standing moves so the participant can select their routine and progress to a higher level as they get healthier. The workouts are unique in that they instruct the same therapeutic movements Andrews teaches in therapy - except they have one thing missing: the high therapy price tag.
Viewers can tune in to their Maine Public Television station and get a quality health routine without leaving home. Functional Fitness with Suzanne Andrews airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6:30 AM.
