TORRANCE, Calif. - Dec. 5, 2016 - PRLog -- After 10 weeks of high-level nail design challenges, NAILS Next Top Nail Artist announces three finalists: Jonny Diep Pham of Sydney, Australia; Liina Leino of Helsinki, Finland; and Tracey Lee of Eindhoven, Netherlands. The three beat out 21 other competitors presenting themed work on nail tips with accompanying tutorials; entries were presented and judged entirely online.

Next is a series of final challenges to be presented at America's Beauty Show in Chicago in March, along with a public interview on the show floor by CND co-founder Jan Arnold. On Saturday March 25, the winner will be announced at an evening event in Chicago's famed Roof on theWit.

"The winner of Next Top Nail Artist doesn't really rest after this," says Beth Livesay, NAILS executive editor and director of the competition. "He or she represents the entire professional nail community and will hold a very high profile in the year ahead." The winner attends New York Fashion Week and works with a top designer, creating nails that complement the runway looks. Other prizes include doing a cover for NAILS, a feature in Modern Salon, cash, professional products, and numerous opportunities for editorial work.

Meet the Top 3:

Jonny Diep Pham: The 32-year-old nail artist from Sydney first gained attention at Nailympia Australia last year with his immaculate yet emotionally driven artistry. He skipped this year's competition in order to prepare for NTNA.

Liina Leino: Setting Finland on fire with her incredible range of technical and design skill, the 26-year-old Finnish nail tech has eight years of experience and endless passion for her craft. Liina also delights the judges with her highly entertaining videos.

Tracey Lee: Tracey Lee is truly a global artist, with nail design awards stretching from South Africa (her home country) to the U.K. and Australia. A big move from Johannesburg to the Netherlands caused Tracey to leave recruitment and follow her true calling by completing a course in gel and acrylic nail systems. The rest is history.

Each challenge during the NTNA season was underwritten by top nail products companies, including top sponsor CND as well as Akzéntz Professional, American Dawn, Inc., Artistic Nail Design, Bio Seaweed Gel, EzFlow Nail Systems, Gelish, Gel II, ibd, INM, Minx, Morgan Taylor, and Orly.
