Brooklynite Entrepreneur Wins Forty Under 40 Award in the Booming Pet Industry

WOODSIDE, N.Y. - Dec. 5, 2016 - PRLog -- Maurice Eida, Vice President at BH Pet Gear, has won the 2016 Pet Age Forty Under 40 awards program. The awards program is produced by Pet Age, a national publication covering all things in the pet industry, providing the latest industry news and more.

The Forty Under 40 awards program honors men and women under the age of 40 who have been making headlines in their field and who share a commitment to business growth, to professional excellence and to the community. To qualify, a nominee had to meet selection criteria that included working in the pet industry and possessing significant authority for decision making within a company or organization.

Maurice is an ambitious entrepreneur who has had much success in all of his endeavors. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Maurice graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Baruch University. Shortly after graduating he became the VP of Sales and Marketing for a watch company called Viva Time Corp. He devoted 16 years in this position where he gained much of his knowledge and skills in the marketing field.

In 2011 he was given the opportunity to join as the Co-Founder of BH Pet Gear. Today, he has officially taken on a full time position and title as the Company Vice President at BH Pet Gear; makers of Kaleb's Organics Dog Treats, AKC Collection, Jelly Wellies Rain Gear for Dogs, AKC Paw Tech Dog Boots, and Calm Cat.

Maurice and his business partner started BH Pet Gear with the Beverly Hills Polo Club pet license, a fashion lifestyle brand. They quickly signed a licensing agreement with the American Kennel Club to manufacture their pet apparel as well. Not only does BH Pet Gear work with licenses, it also manufactures private label products for some of the top pet specialty retailers in America.
