Dealing with diseases through Yoga - AYM Yoga School

 
RISHIKESH, India - Dec. 5, 2016 - PRLog -- There are many diseases and ailments that one might suffer from due to a hectic work life and pollution. Taking antibiotic medicines is not the right solution to deal with such diseases. Yoga is an answer as it has poses and stretching, bending and twisting exercises for every part of the body from head to toe. Here are some of the diseases that can be easily addressed with yoga.

1.     Asthma

Though there are certain inhaler machines that can save your life, but they might not be able to cure it or stop it from recurring. But yoga does. Breathing exercises such as pranayama, anulom vilom and Bhramri can help to deal with Asthma effectively.

2.     Indigestion

Indigestion often happens due to eating junk food and due to lack of exercises. There are medicines to treat it but the best way is through yoga. Child pose and wind relieving poses are the best to deal with indigestion.

3.     Hypertension

Hypertension happens due to high blood pressure. It is a disease that can be caused by regular practice of yoga such as pranayama and surya namaskar.

4.     Diabetes

Diabetes is one of the major incurable diseases that can't be healed completely. The insulin resistance cannot be cured but doing yoga daily can help control blood sugar levels. Triangle pose is the best suited for diabetes.

5.     Migraine

Migraine headaches are often caused due to lack of proper blood supply to the brain. Sirsasana or complete headstand is the best pose meant to cure migraine headaches.

6.     Liver problems

Liver problems can vary from minor ingestion to severe fatty liver problems. You need to try some basic yoga poses to increase blood circulation in stomach/abdomen. Bridge pose and cat pose are the best suited for this.

7.     Arthritis

Arthritis is a disease that causes severe pain in joints and is not completely curable. But daily practice of yoga can help control and minimize such pains. Surya Namaskar is the best set of exercises to deal with Arthritis effectively.
