Indie Publisher to be awarded the 2017 Fashion Umbrella Foundation Impact Award

BOSTON - Dec. 3, 2016 - PRLog -- The Fashion Umbrella Foundation has selected Tiffany Tate, founder/publisher of Linger Magazine, to receive the 2017 Fashion Umbrella Foundation Impact Award in March 2017 in Baltimore.

The Fashion Umbrella Foundation Impact Award is presented to individuals and/or organizations who have made a significant change or differential encounter in someone else's life or created a sustainable and more viable lifestyle for a community.

Ms. Tate's dedication to education and the Arts placed her at the top of the Fashion Umbrella Foundation's list of recipients deserving of The Impact Award. The Fashion Umbrella Foundation recognizes Ms. Tate's undying devotion for another person's advancement as unmeasurable and an outstanding achievement.

Ms. Tate will accept the 2017 Fashion Umbrella Foundation Impact Award during the Fashion Umbrella Foundation's fundraiser, The Gala, a black tie event facilitated to raise money for the Fashion Umbrella Foundation Scholarship Award. The scholarship is awarded to freshmen and sophomore college students who possess a 3.0 GPA.

The Gala will take place at the Columbus Center, 701 E. Pratt Street, Baltimore, Maryland located in the HEART of the Inner Harbor - Downtown Baltimore.
