TANGLEWOOD: a brand new game for the SEGA Mega Drive / Genesis

EUROPA COURT, U.K. - Nov. 30, 2016 - PRLog -- Introducing TANGLEWOOD - a brand new game in development for the SEGA Genesis, to be released on cartridge in 2017. We've been featured on some top sites like Kotaku, Nintendo Life, Motherboard and Xataka, and we're continuing to spread the word worldwide.

Tanglewood is a 2D platforming game starring Nymn, a terrified young fox-like creature who is lost from home, in a vast forest full of dangerous predators. The player must use their skills of evasion, trickery and traps to survive the night terrors and get to morning. It combines fast-paced platforming action with puzzles, and can be described as a mix between the Mega Drive / Genesis titles The Lion King and Another World.

The game is a real 16-bit title that plays on genuine SEGA hardware. It was created using tools and processes of the early '90s out of love and passion for SEGA's golden era, in a bid to bring real meaning to the term 'retro gaming' and show off the community that still supports the beloved machine.

A demo is available to try right now (http://tanglewoodgame.com/press.html), which features three acts from the first level, and is playable on major Mega Drive / Genesis emulators or on a real SEGA console via a flash cart.
