Launchpeer Building the First Accelerator of Its Kind in the Southeastern United States

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Nov. 30, 2016 - PRLog -- Launchpeer, an application and web development agency, announced today that it has started the Launchpeer Accelerator Program, or LAP.

The goal of the LAP is to take a startup from ideation to launch in 14 weeks. To do this, Launchpeer will help seed-stage and pre-seed stage startups that currently do not have an existing product. The Program's focus is to validate, plan, build and launch a scalable product for the startup during the program.

"Our team has a lot of working knowledge helping very early-stage startups with non-technical founders who are hustling to get their product built," said Launchpeer's founder, Jake Hare. "Many accelerators focus mostly on funding or mentorship, but lack the ability to provide tactical resources like software development. We aim to change that.Enter the Launchpeer Accelerator Program."

To differentiate themselves from other accelerator programs, Launchpeer will provide crucial resources to help build a tangible product that can go straight to market. Aside from a free work space, Launchpeer will provide the chosen startup free legal assistance, marketing consulting, investor networking, weekly strategy sessions with the team and, most importantly, up to 300 hours of development services.

Applicants have the chance to apply to the program from now until Dec. 31, 2016. Interviews will begin the first week of January, and a winning team will be selected by the end of January 2017.

Once a winner is chosen, Launchpeer and the winning team will determine a good start date based on their travel needs, if any.

No upfront costs will be exacted from the winner. Instead, Launchpeer will ask for for 1 percent equity in the startup and 10 percent of the first $250,000 raised.
