Home Helpers of San Mateo Announces Availability of Skilled Medical Services

SAN MATEO, Calif. - Nov. 30, 2016 - PRLog -- Home Helpers of San Mateo today announced that it has received a Home Health License from the State of California. This license will allow Home Helpers to provide skilled Medical Services in five Counties in the Bay Area. These services include: skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and social work. These services will be provided on a private duty basis in the privacy of the home environment.
As part of this offer, Home Helpers will provide Care Management. This will include a professional nursing evaluation and "total" management of care for optimal health. Care Management assures the living environment is appropriate and safe, medications and treatments are understood and followed, and that community services are coordinated and provided.

Occupational therapists will help clients focus on activities of daily living which include bathing, dressing, meal preparation, fine motor skills such as writing, along with improving balance and coordination, minimizing pain and improving or maintaining stamina for enhanced independence.
