DULUTH, Ga. - Nov. 29, 2016 - PRLog -- Green LED Zone is proud to announce the addition of "Corn Cob" LED bulbs to our lineup!  The corn cob reference in the name comes from the cylindrical shape of these bulbs in combination with the appearance of the yellow chips surrounding the body of the bulb.

Corn bulbs are used for replacement of HID lamps and are intended to be used in ballast bypass applications only.  Our selection features an E39 mogul base that accepts input voltages ranging from 100-277 volts AC.  We offer these lamps in color choices of 4000k or 5000k and they come standard with a 5 year manufacturers warranty.

The lumen output of our initial corn bulb offerings range from 3606 to 6919 lumens making them the perfect low cost lighting solution for retrofitting high intensity discharge lamps ranging from 100 to 250 watts.

By simply bypassing the ballast and running line voltage to the socket you can quickly retrofit metal halide, mercury vapor, or high pressure sodium lamps to LED without breaking the bank.  Prices start as low as $44.99 each making this one of the lowest cost HID lighting retrofit options available.
