The Spur Expands After 15 Years in Park City

PARK CITY, Utah - Nov. 25, 2016 - PRLog -- The Spur Bar and Grill celebrates its 15 Anniversary with the completion of the much anticipated expansion on December 6. The Spur invites you to celebrate the unveiling of their new space, located at 352 Main Street in Park City. For 15 years, locals and visitors have flocked here in order to enjoy the unique atmosphere no other bars offer.

The Spur was born from the vision of Renowned Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Aaron Hofmann in December of 2001.  Featuring a comfortable, smoke-free Western atmosphere and its signature cowboy theme, The Spur has made its mark on Main Street. The recipe for Dr. Hofmann's success is simple, top notch live music, a spacious dance floor, and the best service on Main Street.

"The demand for us to grow is there," says Dr. Hoffman, "and we are going to meet it by growing and remaining a family owned and operated business that provides a warm and inviting atmosphere for all."

The expansion features two additional bars, main street front, a year round outdoor patio, and a new food and drink menu. General Manager Fabio Ferreira believes local patrons will love the new menu and the operating hours.

"We will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. every day, and our new menu features items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. As well as new signature cocktails and beer and wine on tap!"

Local business owners and patrons of The Spur are excited about the expansion and believe it will have a positive impact on the surrounding area. Long time Park City resident and Director of the Egyptian Theater Randy Barton, is excited about The Spur Expansion.

"I have been a resident of Summit County and Park City for 40 years.  During that time, I have often seen the energy of nightlife shift up and down the street – based on which venues become the latest "Hotspot".  I really think that with an expanded Spur – the dynamics of the flow of patrons will move back uptown."
