EL PASO, Texas - Nov. 23, 2016 - PRLog -- Edison Hope Christian Academy submitted an invitation to The Real Life Superhero, DangerMan, to participate in The Sun Bowl this Thanksgiving. The theme is "80 Years Around the World" and Grand Marshall, Ginger Kerrick, is the first female Hispanic Flight Director in NASA history. Edison Hope Christian Academy founded by Maruyi Hughes realizes the that literacy advocacy is the cornerstone of what will engage scholars. The Real Life Superhero was called to action in an effort to engage students in literacy and show a fun interactive option than just a trip to the library.

While comics are turning into films such as Marvel's latest success, Luke Cage, the race for student's attention has risen. Comic book heroes give legitimacy to why it's important to read the full story. Character backgrounds are important and promotes students to read and dig a little deeper into storytelling and reading. Learning to read or increase literacy through exciting tales are what the DangerMan Educational Foundation Inc. strives for. DangerMan, a Real Life Superhero engages Edison's students with his comic book and YouTube tales of staying safe, reading and understanding their surroundings in this ever changing climate.
