Art Is In Market Nashville will celebrate their one year anniversary this month with cookies and beverages throughout Black Friday weekend.

Art Is In Market is a business that provides space for local artists to display their work in a mall location year round. Located next to Belks Men's and Kid's store in CoolSprings Galleria Mall, 1800 Galleria Blvd, Franklin, TN 37067, Art Is In Market opened their doors on Black Friday weekend in 2015.

The concept for Art Is In Market was first tested in Michigan in 2005 by artist Debbie La Pratt and her son Brian. It was intended to be a pop-up holiday shop, but after finding strong demand for work from Michigan artists, it became a year-round store, which eventually grew to three stores within the state.

Shortly after moving to Nashville four years ago, Brian La Pratt was inspired to bring the Art Is In Market brand and concept to Tennessee.

"We are excited about sharing our vision with the Middle Tennessee market. There are so many talented and creative artisans who reside in Middle Tennessee that when a space became available in the Cool Spring Galleria, we jumped at the chance. We've been quite successful bringing artisans to large commercial markets such as our stores in Michigan." states Brian La Pratt.
