PODS® of Wisconsin Announces Its Seventh Year Helping Toys for Tots Deliver Holiday Cheer

MILWAUKEE - Nov. 22, 2016 - PRLog -- PODS of Wisconsin will once again support the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation this year by donating their containers to store donated toys at collection points and by transporting the donations to local Toys for Tots distribution centers. In 2015, PODS provided an estimated $160,000 worth of services and over 250 containers to U.S. Marine Corps toy drives across the United States.

"We're grateful to be entrusted by Toys for Tots with the storage and transport of these important donations," said John Hudson. "Their program brings joy to thousands of children every holiday season, and we consider it an honor to be able to support their cause."

PODS' local efforts in Wisconsin have been supporting PODS' national Toys for Tots programs since 2009. In the 69 years since the Toys for Tots program began, the Marines have distributed more than 512 million toys for 237 million less fortunate children across the United States.

PODS will deliver their patented containers wherever they're needed, including radio stations, toy drives, and Marine bases, for the collection and storage of toys until toy distribution days. This year, PODS of Wisconsin will have containers out for toy collection at Peoples Bank, 29430 Silver Lake Rd. in Silver Lake this holiday season through Dec. 15.
